Personal introduction Biography

Male, born in 1969, graduated from the Department of Astronomy of Nanjing University in 1990 with a bachelor's degree, and graduated from the Department of Astronomy in 1995 with a major in celestial mechanics. He was appointed as an associate professor in 1998, a professor in 2003, and a doctoral supervisor in 2004. In 2009, he was awarded the Outstanding Youth Fund by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. From 2010 to 2019, he successively served as Secretary of the Party Committee and Dean of the School of Astronomy and Space Science. From 2019 to 2024, he successively served as the executive vice president of the Graduate School of Nanjing University and a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Nanjing University. From 2003 to 2009, he served as a member of the Organizing Committee of the Celestial Mechanics Committee of the International Astronomical Union. Once served as the president of the Astronomical Society of Jiangsu Province. He is currently the vice president of the Chinese Astronomical Society, a member of the editorial board of Acta Astronomical Sinica and Science in China G: Physics, Mechanics and Astronomy, and a member of the Physics and Astronomy Discipline Evaluation Group of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council.

Research Field Research Interests

His research interests include the detection, formation and dynamics of exoplanetary systems. He has presided over national key research and development projects and key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 120 papers. He is the author of "Fundamentals of Celestial Mechanics" and co-edited a copy of "Introduction to Modern Celestial Mechanics" . He has been invited to give synthesis reports at international conferences for many times. In 2004, his achievements won the second prize of Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education (the first completer). In 2020, he won the first prize of Science and Technology Award of Jiangsu Astronomical Society (the first completer).
