On June 24th, 2024, General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out at the National Science and Technology Conference that we should solidly promote the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation, and address bottlenecks such as industrial mother machine industry to promote the enterprise-led integrated innovation of industry, academia, and research. The integration degree between the gradual improvement of the industrial chain and the disruptive change in the innovation chain directly determines the global competitiveness of a country's industries, thereby affecting its position in the global value chain. Developed countries such as USA, Germany, Japan, and Switzerland have formed their own unique structures and forms of industrial mother machine industries through the combination of different levels of industrial chains and innovation chains, but each has its shortcomings. This article draws on the experience and lessons of developed countries in the production and innovation integration of industrial mother machine, and systematically explores the integration mode and implementation path of China's industrial mother machine industry.
In order to achieve the production and innovation integration of industrial mother machine, the policy paths are as follows.
1. Clarify standard rules, reduce information asymmetry, and minimize the impact of regional protectionism.
2. Emphasize disruptive innovation, establish innovation funds to support high-risk and high-return projects, and improve the intellectual property protection system.
3. Establish a comprehensive data integration system, and support the independent research and development of core technologies.
4. Promote the construction of technology platforms, create the open and shared technology platforms, and improve the transformation mechanism for technological achievements.
5. Improve the overall quality and accuracy of industrial mother machines, and establish strict quality standards.
