The Twelfth Meeting of the Fourth Council of Nanjing University Education Development Foundation was held at the Administrative South Building on Xianlin Campus. The meeting was chaired by Tan Tieniu, Chair of NJU CPC Council and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Chairman of the Foundation.

In his speech, Tan Tieniu fully affirmed the progress achieved by the Foundation, as well as the deep sense of responsibility shown by all directors and supervisors. He emphasized that in the future, the Foundation should further analyze existing issues, carefully clarify its positioning, and focus on NJU's core tasks while staying aligned with its main responsibilities and priorities. He stressed the importance of maintaining a steady pace in its operations. Additionally, the Foundation should adopt targeted measures to ensure the effective use of donations, strengthen regular communication with donors from all sectors of society, provide periodic reports on the usage and impact of donations, and ensure that every donation is utilized promptly and effectively.

The attending directors engaged in thorough discussions and deliberations on key matters, including adjustments to the council members, the Foundation's 2024 work report and 2025 work plan, as well as the Foundation's 2024 final account and 2025 budget. Some agenda items were put to a vote.
University leaders Suo Wenbin and Wen Yu attended the meeting, while the attending supervisors oversaw the entire proceedings.
