Abstract:
As the main front for researching and promoting Marxism, the school of Marxism is an important force for universities to implement the fundamental task of cultivating talents. Over the past thirty years, the school of Marxism’s construction in our universities has experienced three stages: “initial stage”, “development stage”, and “revitalization stage”, and it is achieving a transformation from “extensional development” to “connotative development”. On the basis of clarifying the origin, responsibilities, functions and position about the school of Marxism in universities, the academic community has explored the construction path and the connotation development of the school of Marxism, the construction of the school of Marxism in different types of universities, ideological and political course teaching and the school of Marxism’s construction, and has achieved fruitful research results. Of course, existing achievements still have problems and shortcomings such as a single research topic, scattered research time, insufficient research content, and limited research perspectives. The article analyzes that to the future, it is advocated to further focus on innovative development models, conduct in-depth research on the construction elements, and explore the school of Marxism’s construction for the future.
