Jin Hu, male, Associate Professor, received his Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Circuit Design and Integrated Systems from Xidian University in 2014, his Master’s degree in Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics from Xidian University in 2017, and his Ph.D. in the same discipline from Xidian University in 2021. In the same year, he joined the Postdoctoral Research Station of Communication Engineering at Xidian University. In 2022, he was appointed as a Lecturer at the School of Microelectronics.
He has supervised and graduated multiple master’s students, who have gone on to work at renowned chip design companies such as HiSilicon, Fudan Microelectronics, Tollsemi Semiconductor, and GalaxyCore.
His long-term research interests focus on mixed-signal integrated circuit design and chip-based LiDAR systems. His primary research areas include silicon-based single-photon LiDAR chips, biomedical chips, and data converters.
He has published over 20 SCI-indexed papers in internationally recognized conferences and journals, including IEEE ASSCC, IEEE ESSERC, IEEE TCAS I/II, IEEE Sensors Journal, IEEE EDL, IEEE TED, IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, and IEEE MWCL. He also holds several authorized invention patents and serves as a reviewer for international journals such as IEEE TCAS-I, IEEE TCAS-II, IEEE Open Journal of Circuits and Systems, and Microelectronics Journal.
He has participated in major national science and technology projects and is currently leading or has completed projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Youth Program), industry-sponsored projects, and several Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities.
